Ready to Get Started

Jun. 16, 2015

Thursday Morning (May 28, 2015) I stopped in at the Jensen Chiropractic Clinic in Sterling, IL to have my blood drawn and do a urine test. I had to fast from 8pm the night before so they could get a good test. I headed to work after that, and was told to be back at 5pm on Friday Night and we would go over the blood test, and get ready to start the program.

Friday night, Cathy and I stopped after work and Dr. Jensen went over the blood tests, i only had a few out of range numbers on a few things, my cholesterol was 135 or somewhere in that range which is low for an overweight person. He was going down the list and says "I can tell you don't drink at all at how low this number is for one of the tests." I said "nope not a drop for the past 3 years.

After going over the blood test, Dr Jensen prescribed me with 4 different kinds of pills to take:

1 Bone Builder Pill a day: Bone Builder - a natural high-strength formula containing MCHC calcium plus 10 key nutrients that can reverse the effects of osteoporosis

2 Pills a day of Methionine: (Methionine is a protein-based amino acid and lipotropic compound that helps with metabolism and breaks down fat. It can also help with chelation, which is the removal of heavy metals from the body to ensure that the liver, kidneys, and bladder remain healthy. This amino acid preserves artery function and maintains healthy nails, hair, and skin. Additionally, it is essential for muscle growth and energy.

3 Pills a Day of Choline & Inositol: Choline and inositol are nutrients that are crucial for the cells of the human body and for the transport of fat and cholesterol from the liver. They are also necessary for proper functioning of the neurotransmitters acetylocholine and serotonin, which regulate mood and muscle movements. Both nutrients can be found in the body or obtained through various food sources.

3 Pills a Day of Hyaluronic Acid: Hyaluronic acid benefits soft tissue function, such as joint support, and combatting osteoarthritis. HA is responsible, in part, for the resilience of cartilage and its ability to resist compression. As one of the chief components of the extra-cellular matrix, Hyaluronan is an important component of articular cartilage1, where it is present as a coat around each cell (chondrocyte).

I got the book, Michelle gave me a few pages of Shape Recipes, that she has used or others have used to give us some variety. Then she took pictures front, back, one side, then the other, to compare when i get to the end of the program, and go on maintenance. She then used a tape measure like the seamstresses use, and meausured my neck, shoulders, thighs, waist, etc.

I paid for the program, got the pills, got some last minute instructions and on to the GLutton Days!! I will talk about the Glutton Days in the next writing.
