Mint Sugar Madness
Herbal mint sugar. Yum yummy! I haven't made it in a few years. It's the best and so easy to make.
It's great for a tummy ache, a sweet treat, flavoring & a sweetener for tea and more.
I also powder it and use to sprinkle on top of cupcakes or to be used like regular sugar.
I grab a handful of mint and wash it and then throw it in a blender with about an 1/8 cup of water. I add a bit of sugar and blend. Pour it into a bowl and add more sugar until it's thick.
I spread it on parchment paper and bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes or so. I then break it up and lay it out overnight to dry some more.
Make sure that it's very dry if you want to powder it like sugar.
I usually make enough to powder and leave some chunky.
Easy, useful and fun to make.
