Prince George Episcopal (Winyah) Church
Prince George Winyah is the oldest religious body in Georgetown and one of the oldest in South Carolina.
The main body and the churchyard were named to the National Register of Historic Places on May 6, 1971.
"Parish founded 1721. Present church erected about 1750. Aided by the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, London. Occupied by British forces during the Revolution."
